Understanding NOB

Who is an NOB?

NOB is a leadership role within the Indian Youth Congress which drives the vision and ideas of the larger organisation. Along with leading various campaigns, NOBs serve as the voice of the youth of this country.

What is the 'NOB Program'?

'NOB program' is a platform, an initiative by the Indian Youth Congress which seeks to engage with young political workers for 8 months, who are uncompromisingly dedicated to the Constitution of India and are willing to lead and organise movements of YOUTH. The Intention of this program is to attract such proactive individuals and prepare them to take up responsibilities as National Office Bearers of the IYC and contribute in the creation of a broad and diverse youth organisation.

Interview and Basic Camp

Your aspirations and motivations will be understood through one-on-one interactions. Following this, state-level camps will be organized where you will be introduced to the role, provided with essential information, and familiarized with organization-building activities.

Ground-Level Tenure 1

A period to fulfill the goals set during the basic camp, while also taking on responsibilities within your assigned area.

Leadership Camp and Ground level Tenure 2

Those who successfully complete all the objectives during the ground-level tenure will be selected for the second-level camp, where they will be introduced to the ideological outreach and the technical parameters of organizational expansion. During this phase, participants will be required to carry out ideological outreach and publicity, while also working towards organizational expansion.

Final Interview

The final stage of this journey, where candidates' entire tenure will be evaluated through personal interactions, and they will be oriented to their responsibilities before being inducted into the national organization.

Who is Eligible?

Individuals with at least three years of political or social experience

Individuals who are 35 years of age or below
